Contest Rules

Visions of the Shore ***FOR MEMBERS OF PREMIER FINE ARTWORKS GROUP ONLY.

*** ABSOLUTELY NO AI, NO DIGITAL, NO PHOTOS, NO MIXED MEDIA THAT CONTAINS DIGITAL OR AI

1) Your artwork, must be of a traditional media (exclude the types listed above), showing a shoreline (sea or lake). Not a close up of waves, but must include the land.
2) No people or animals in the scene (unless very distant figures)
3) No text and No distracting buildings, boats or other objects that distract from the sea/lake/pond and land.
4) Members of Premier Fine Artworks group only. If you are not a member but are interested in joining, click on the sponsoring group icon on this page. Please be mindful that PFA does NOT accept artwork that is digital, photographed, or ai. If your gallery does not consist of a significant body of paintings/drawings, please don't become a member for the sake of this contest.
5) No abstract where the viewer is unable to easily visualize the water and land.

This contest is JURIED by the host. 3 distinct winners will be selected, which will receive a prominent display on the homepage of the sponsoring group. In addition to the 3 winners, up to 15 other artworks will be chosen as the 'contest administrator's notable artworks'. These will receive further promotion in a discussion thread in PFA, and will be notified of this recognition via a group email to all contest participants.

Any artwork not in compliance with the rules will be removed without debate or further discussion.
