The ARTIST BUZzz - OCTOBER 2025- Wildlife Wonders...

WELCOME ALL FAA Artists! You are invited to participate in - The ARTIST BUZzz - OCTOBER 2025- Wildlife Wonders CONTEST!

Wildlife has been my source of Inspiration, daydreams and creation in Laurelland since I could hold a magnifying glass and a pencil! This year, our chipmunk families in both our garden wall and driveway swails have given us quite a daily show! My husband wanted to try both cherry tomatoes in our herb garden and plant perrenials instead of the annual plants which have not been performing well over the last two years. Our lilies doubled from last year's purple hybrid dwarf corms and our addition of water elements for the birds reduced exposed soil spaces which resulted in a beautiful yield of vegetation and flowers!! This TOTALLY pleased our chipmunks who delighted in their daily gifts of blueberries, served in a vintage teacup-saucer 'birdfeeder' and enjoyed their daily combination soaker hose with delicate jets for a morning shower! We got some fun video shorts and laughter with morning Tea; I got inspired to paint a series chronicalling their beauty, intelligence and antics. Between the birds and the chippies, my husband has been totally trained!
