History of the United States

This group is for photographs or art work depicting notable events or locations in the history of the United States. Examples might be historical landmarks or depictions of historical figures. 'Historical figures' in this sense are people who contributed to the history of the U.S. in their lifetime. Thus currently living people are not yet 'historical' figures, even though they might be remembered in the future. This is not a place for political commentary. Administrator reserves the right to delete any submission which, in his discretion, does not meet these guidelines.
