WELCOME to Christian Theme Artwork Group!
ALL MEDIUMS ARE WELCOME!
Our passion is to showcase and promote sacred art that glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ through the Christian faith. Christian art is defined as art that uses subjects, themes, and imagery from Christianity. In this group you will see artwork that does, indeed, acknowledge the Lord before men!

GROUP GUIDELINES FOR MEMBERS:
1) Only one (1) image submission per day is allowed.
2) All mediums are accepted.
3) The emphasis in this group is on Text-based artwork, preferably seen on the artwork itself, or if that is not possible, the Christian theme explicitly explained in the description. These images will be given priority for inclusion into the gallery and for features. Acceptable text included on the artwork is Christian based from the Bible, denoting Book, Chapter, and Verse, or Christian-themed text without a scriptural reference. The admin will select images most clearly honoring and professing the Christian faith.
4) So repeating, artwork must honor the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, or honor the Christian faith, for it to be considered for inclusion into this gallery. No images that profane Christianity will be accepted. SO PLEASE PAY ATTENTION: Images of nature or other subjects must have a Christian-themed description, or Christian-based text on the image, to be considered for inclusion into this gallery. Pretty for pretty's sake is nice, but not for this group. So if you wonder why images you submit are not included in the gallery, or featured, please review these guidelines carefully.
5) Please be advised that texted images must be quality images. The clearer the text, the clearer the image, the better chance for submission into the gallery and becoming a feature.
6) AGAIN, FOR ARTWORK WITHOUT TEXT, THIS IS IMPORTANT: For those of you who love your art without text (like me, a mosaic artist) that is fine for the group, but the description must specify a Christian scripture or meaning. Some art just doesn't do well with text. But MAKE THE DESCRIPTION PART OF THE ART! Enlighten us! That will really boost your chances of being featured.
7) The administrator reserves the right to delete unacceptable artwork and remove artists who do not comply with these guidelines. So be respectful! And a reminder, when participating in discussion threads, everyone must abide by PIXELS Rules and FAA Rules.
8) Please submit your best images! Every Wednesday the features page, home page (scroll down so you can see present features) will add new images. Though a limit of 30 images are recommended to be allowed on the features section at a time, per FAA guidelines, the admin will exceed that number based on the submissions. It is a real honor to be featured. When that happens, do yourself a favor, help out your group activity level as well, and embed your featured image in the discussion thread provided for features. Include keywords and descriptions to enable searches for your art. You can include a brief thank you for the feature if you'd like.
9) UNIQUE MEMBER OPPORTUNITY: On feature day (Wednesday) I will select images that have already been featured in the group for promotion to Top of the Top Features, to be displayed on the homepage in oversized images. It is from this T of the T selection I will approach the members if I'm interested in changing the homepage logo. If the member accepts being a logo selection, their image will be displayed as the group logo for the duration the admin chooses. Be sure to submit your best entries every week with this extra promotional opportunity in mind. Think that everything you submit could become a logo!
10) CONTESTS! As your group admin, I am very fond of contests. I love creating them and launching them. I often spend long hours in contemplation to bring you, the members, thought-provoking and meaningful competitions that bring visibility to you and your artwork. Stay tuned! You will be emailed when one is opened, when it's time to vote, and when the results are posted...most often to a homepage showcase. Visibility visibility visibility.
11) GROUP PROMO THREADS! Visit the discussions tab and find promotional opportunities to support your own and other group members' artwork within the group. Give glory and honor to the LJC while boosting Christian art. Your devoted effort to promote the Christian Theme Artwork Group in these promo threads will benefit you as a member because, along with the admin's hard work, the group will continue ranking in the very-high-activity level on the FAA groups main page. Probably Page One. What happens then? People will explore the group and might find you! How outstanding is that? Output produces input! You reap what you sow.
