OUR MISSION IS...
...to showcase and promote sacred art that glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ through the Christian faith. Christian art is defined as art that uses subjects, themes, and imagery from Christianity.
This group is open to all who are curious about Him, all who know Him, and all who are sold out to Him. All Christian expressions of faith are acceptable in this group.
Jesus is coming back! Our work as Christian artists is to proclaim God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; that people may see and understand the Christian message; that Jesus's mission is still being accomplished on earth. We present-day believers are continuing what all the other believers before us did, while filled with his Holy Spirit, following Jesus's command to be his 'witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.' Acts 1:8.
Here's the promise. As Jesus was ascending into heaven, while his disciples gathered around him, 'two men dressed in white garments stood beside them. They said, 'Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking at the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will return in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.'' Acts 1:9-11
It's rather extraordinary to join the ranks of fellow artists throughout the Christian era who honor the Lord Jesus Christ and his coming kingdom.

GROUP GUIDELINES FOR MEMBERS:
1) Only one (1) image submission per day is allowed.
2) All mediums are accepted. Text on the artwork is accepted.
3) IMPORTANT: Images of nature or other subjects (that are not Christian themed on their face) must have a Christian-themed title, description, keywords, or Christian-based text on the image, or if an abstract, explicitly explained in the title, description, or keywords, to be accepted into this group. Otherwise they will be rejected or removed. Pretty for pretty's sake is nice, but not for this group. So if you wonder why images you submit are not included in the gallery, or featured, please refer back to these rules! Plus...and a real big plus... No images that dishonor the Lord Jesus Christ or the Christian faith will be accepted.
4) Please be advised that texted images must be quality images. The clearer the text, the clearer the image, the better chance for submission into the gallery and becoming a feature.
5) The administrator reserves the right to reject artwork that is unclear in its Christian message or that violates the group rules. Artists who do not comply with these guidelines may be removed from the group. And a reminder, when participating in discussion threads, everyone must abide by PIXELS Rules and FAA Rules.
6) Please submit your best images! Every Tuesday the admin will add newly submitted images into the group and select features for the group homepage. Though a limit of 30 images are recommended to be allowed on the features section at a time per FAA guidelines, the admin may exceed that number based on the number and quality of submissions. It is a real honor to be featured. When that happens, do yourself a favor, help out your group activity level as well, and embed your featured image in the discussion thread provided for features. Include keywords and descriptions to enable searches for your art. You can include a brief thank you for the feature if you'd like.
7) UNIQUE MEMBER OPPORTUNITY: Once a week I select at least 5 images for TOP OF THE TOP FEATURES, to be displayed on the homepage in oversized images. It is from this T of the T selection I will approach the members if I'm interested in changing the homepage logo. If the member accepts being a logo selection, their image will be displayed as the group logo for the duration the admin chooses. Be sure to submit your best entries every week with this extra promotional opportunity in mind. Think that everything you submit could become a logo!
8) THE GROUP ADMIN LOVES CONTESTS! Watch for them; and check out the Contests Discussions Tab to study the contest history of this group.
9) PROMO THREADS are available in the Discussions Tab. The admin encourages your participation to gain friends, increase visibility for your art, and help promote others and the group's standing in FAA. Participation in promo threads is not required to remain a group member but is strongly encouraged.
