Autumn Landscapes with Wildlife

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING!!!


**This contest is sponsored by the Go Take a Hike Photography Group; any images submitted should represent things that one may find out on the trail, in a natural setting – unless contest rules specifically allow exceptions.**

Show us photos in which the subjects are Autumn landscapes with wildlife in them, following these rules:



1. PHOTOGRAPHY ONLY. No post-processing digital alterations other than basic edits and black and white conversions, and no AI, digital painting, mixed media, selective color, false backgrounds, added graphics or text allowed. No drone photography, no aerial photography, and no trail camera shots allowed.


2. This contest IS NOT looking for wildlife close-ups with a smattering of fall colors for a background. This contest requires A BROAD, AUTUMN LANDSCAPE with OBVIOUS FALL COLORS which happens to have WILDLIFE in it. See Contest Logo and/or the first two entries to the contest for examples.


3. Your images must be captured in a natural environment. PEOPLE and plainly visible MAN-MADE OBJECTS of any kind are NOT allowed. Any shots taken of CAPTIVE or DOMESTIC animals (zoo, farm, wildlife rehab center, aquarium or butterfly house animals) or pets are NOT allowed. Any shots taken in zoos or aquariums, wildlife rehab centers, farms, marinas or built-up areas are NOT allowed. Any shots taken in ANY KIND OF GARDEN, cultivated farm fields or flower fields, yards, or neighborhoods are NOT allowed.


4. As always, there is ABSOLUTELY NO VOTER SOLICITATION ALLOWED in any Go Take a Hike Photo Group contest. Please allow your images to speak for themselves! Also, no position-bumping. If you submit images, then leave them where they are. Pulling and resubmitting to get your images to the front will result in your images being removed.




I reserve the right to remove any photos which do not meet the contest parameters. I look forward to seeing everybody’s work!

Each participant may submit 2 images.

1)   You must be a member of Pixels.com in order to cast votes in this contest.   Your account must have been active at least 30 days prior to the start of the contest in order to vote.

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
